Fashion week is back as every year, since 1958. Milan has become one of the “big four” alongside of New York, London and Paris hosting the fashion week and during this time of the year it becomes very lively, as many people from around the world come to take part to this important event in the fashion industry.
From the 22nd to the 27th of February the calendar includes 165 appointments, with 59 fashion shows, 70 presentations and 29 events, as well as exclusive parties and glamorous cocktails, with a new format dedicated to the Fashion Hub, exciting side projects, exhibitions and presentations not to be missed. Not all the events are open to the public, but some are.
Among these for instance, the one not to be missed is undoubtedly Collini’s “Urban Catwalk”, which will present its fall-winter 2023 / 2024 fashion show on a tram ride throughout the city on Thursday 23rd of February. Just like in a theatrical performance, travelers will be taking part in the show and will be able to board the tram to see the garments worn by the models, who will blend in with the audience. The tram will ride all the way to Piazza Duomo, where the actual show open to the public will be held.
Other notable events include:
- the after party by GCDS with dj set at Palazzo del Ghiaccio starting from 10:30 pm on Thursday 23rd. (by invitation only)
- Trussardi party (where they will launch their fall / winter collection) on Friday 24th from 9:00 pm in piazza della Scala, just next to the famous opera house (by invitation only)
- Philipp Plein party, from 10:00 pm on Saturday 25th at Fieramilanocity
