The Salone del Mobile annual furniture fair in Milan is the world’s largest event of its kind. The exhibition usually presents the latest furniture and design novelties from around the world. It is considered to be the leading showcase for furniture, lighting and other interior designers. The festival, also known as “Milan Design Week” or “Milano Salone” for short, is held at the Fiera Milano exhibition center in the Milano Rho area. In addition to the Salone del Mobile, the Euroluce exhibition takes place every odd year, and the EuroCucina and the International Bathroom Exhibition take place every even year. The Fuorisalone festival is also part of the Milan Design Week events.
